In demolition, you can come across a hundred and more materials that need to be removed from all sorts of buildings and constructions. Very suitable for demolition applications and for handling the most diverse materials are Holmatro’s cutters with short and standard blades. The standard blade is ideal for cutting bigger elements because of the U-shape, which pulls the material towards the strongest point of the cutter. The short blade is more suitable in those situations when less space is available, whereas a high cutting force is required.

Lifting and securing the roof of the Rhein stadium in Dusseldorf for repair work. Commissioned by Verwater, Holmatro supplied 250 ton locknut cylinders.

Lifting the construction shed, to its position on top of the fourth level of the Erasmus Medical Centre office tower, is a huge job that has to be done with precision. Commissioned by BAM/Ballast Nedam, Holmatro supplied double-action, high tonnage cylinders.

Special construction techniques are being used for the construction of the Schuman-Josaphat rail tunnel in the centre of Brussels. Commissioned by CEI - De Meyer, Holmatro supplied a PLC-controlled hydraulic Synchronized Positioning System.
