Are you considering a Hydraulic Cutting Tool for Industrial applications? And not sure weither you should choose a Battery (HBC) or Mobile (HMC) Cutting Tool? For starters, don’t forget to ask your operator! Their experience & personal preferences are most valuable! To further assist you, we listed the main considerations for your decision-making process.

Work Environment

• If the cutting tasks are mostly carried out in one place, the HMC might be a great fit for you. It’s easier to
  combines with a workstation and provides continuous power without interruptions.
• When working in various locations, the HBC could offer the freedom in movement you need: an all-in-one solution (tool + pump + hose) that is easy to carry around.

Weight

• When weight is more important than ultimate freedom in movement, the HMC is your better option. might be easier to handle. Since it doesn’t require a battery, it’s lighter and more manageable.
• Since an HBC battery model combines the functions of cutter + pump + hose, this increases the weight. So, when ultimate freedom in movement is more important, choose an HBC.

Power Requirements

• For continuous power up to 8 hours a day, without interruptions, the HMC could be the ideal choice. It’s driven by a separate pump, ensuring you have the power you need for longer working cycles.
• If your user frequency is slightly less intensive, up to 4 hours a day, a battery-operated tool, the HBC, might be more suitable. Thanks to the battery, a constant power source is not needed, and ultimate freedom of movement is guaranteed.

Handling, Continuity

• An HMC comes with a hose & pump: plug in the pump to the power source, and you can keep on going up to 8 hours per day.
• The HBC is an all-in-one, portable solution providing ultimate freedom of movement. This does require recharging of the battery during operations. To enable continuity, our Battery Cutters include 2 batteries on delivery.

Connectivity, real-time diagnostics

• If you want real-time data and diagnostics, HBC’s app integration is your go-to Solution. It allows you to fully read out the system via an app, providing valuable insights and information.

Operating hours

• For continuous work, up to 8 hours per day, the HMC might be the better choice.
• When your frequency of use does not exceed 4 hours per day and/or ultimate freedom in movement is more important, the HBC may be a better fit.

Safety
