Holmatro Wins iF Design Award for Positive Pressure Ventilator 

Holmatro has received the prestigious iF Design Award for its new PPV20 Positive Pressure Ventilator, marking the company’s sixth recognition in this global design competition.  

With the PPV20, Holmatro expands its portfolio into ventilation equipment for firefighting. Developed through extensive research and testing, the PPV20 delivers a balanced combination of high airflow and high pressure for effective smoke and gas removal in demanding conditions. 

Built on Holmatro’s proven battery platform – also used in the iF Gold Award-winning Pentheon and OmniShore ranges – the PPV20 runs on two hot-swappable batteries to ensure uninterrupted operation. Its compact, lightweight design enables fast, one-handed deployment, with intuitive control via preset levels or the MyHolmatro app. 

Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity, low-noise performance, integrated LED lighting, and optional fine mist cooling, all aimed at enhancing safety and operational efficiency for firefighters. 

This latest award underscores Holmatro’s commitment to combining proven technology with user-focused design and continuous innovation.
