Due to the pressure and speed, the oil can penetrate your body, for example, your arm or leg. Your body is not able to dissolve the oil itself, and the oil can even end up in your bloodstream. Our years of experience have taught us that ultimately, there is only one correct way to determine if a hydraulic system is safe to use: dynamic testing. Dynamic testing involves simulating a maximum-use situation of the hydraulic cylinder over the complete stroke in a controlled environment. By doing so, any hidden defects can be identified early on, ensuring the reliability, safety, & lifespan of your tools.
– This testing method is specifically designed for high-pressure hydraulics exceeding 500 Bar/7.250 Psi
– With a safety margin of 105% over the system’s maximum pressure.

Annually during inspection and of course if the coupling is loose.

You use a tilting saddle when lifting a load on a non-parallel or uneven surface to prevent damage and ensure the load is applied evenly.
Tilting saddles compensate for eccentric or off-centered loads and minimize internal friction caused by the cylinder’s misalignment, which extends the cylinder’s lifespan.

No, due to e.g. different materials (we mainly use lightweight aluminum) and couplers, connectors (we use color-coordinated quick couplers for efficiency), this is not possible.

This strongly depends on the type of vehicle, your scope of supply & the situation in the field. In general, the Holmatro Rerailing System has proven to decrease downtime due to its ergonomics & efficiency.

Working with high-pressure hydraulics comes with the responsibility to work safely and keep your operators safe. Therefore, we strongly advise yearly service & certification. This can be done directly or via one of our specialized local Service Partners.
