The high-performance PPV20 has been engineered to deliver maximum airflow, zero downtime and effortless control in the most demanding situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.holmatro.com\/app\/uploads\/2026\/01\/E0029033-2-e1769503560564-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-428091\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Research-driven design<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During development, Holmatro combined simulation-based design with full-scale laboratory and field validation. Central to the design of the PPV20 is a controlled balance between high airflow and high overpressure. Large air volumes support the efficient removal of smoke, heat, and toxic gases, while sustained overpressure helps drive clean air deeper into structures and maintain clear escape routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Developed through firefighters\u2019 eyes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Operational usability was a key consideration throughout development. The PPV features a compact, lightweight design that allows rapid deployment and repositioning with one hand. Airflow can be set using preset levels on the unit or adjusted steplessly via the MyHolmatro app, enabling firefighters to adapt ventilation output to changing on-scene conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Integrated power platform<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Power to the PPV is provided by two hot-swappable Holmatro batteries, integrated into the company\u2019s existing battery platform.
