Locknut cylinders - gravity return

Holmatro's locknut cylinders with gravity return have a lifting capacity of 10 to 250 tons and a stroke of 150 mm. Thanks to the mechanical lock nut, these single-acting hydraulic cylinders (also known as jacks, bottle jacks, presses, bottles or pumps) are very suitable for loading over long periods. The cylinders can be used in all positions and are supplied with a flat saddle. This prevents damage to the plunger. The flat saddle can easily be replaced by a tilting saddle for loads up to a maximum angle of 5°.

Locknut cylinders - hydraulic return

Holmatro's locknut cylinders with hydraulic return have a lifting capacity of 50 to 250 tons and a stroke of 50, 150 and 300 mm. Thanks to the mechanical locknut, these hydraulic cylinders and gravity return lock nut cylinders are extremely suitable for loading over long periods. All double-acting locknut cylinders are resistant to side load up to a maximum of 10%. Lower closed height by using a maximum side load resistance of 5% is available on request.

The Holmatro lock nut cylinders with hydraulic return have significant advantages when it comes to safety, maintenance and sustainability. The cylinders are equipped with a smart return-plunger instead of the usual stop ring. This unique construction increases the pressure surface, resulting in more power with a smaller diameter. By making use of integrated safety valves, the cylinders have additional protection against overpressure on the return side. Multiple‐start thread is provided on the plunger for quickly positioning the locknut. Dirt on the plunger can be removed more easily thanks to the rounded thread. All cylinders are optimally weather-resistant and corrosion protected due to the use of various coatings.
