High tonnage cylinders - gravity return
Holmatro's high tonnage cylinders with gravity return have a lifting capacity of 50 to 500 tons and a stroke length of 60, 150 and 300 mm. These single-acting hydraulic cylinders (also known as jacks, bottle jacks, presses, bottles or pumps) are extremely suitable for heavy lifting work. The cylinders can be used in all positions and are supplied with a flat saddle. This prevents damage to the plunger. The flat saddle can easily be replaced by a tilting saddle for loads up to a maximum angle of 5°.
High tonnage cylinders - hydraulic return
Holmatro's high tonnage cylinders with hydraulic return have a lifting capacity of 50 to 500 tons and a stroke length of 50, 150 and 300 mm. These double-acting hydraulic cylinders are extremely suitable for heavy lifting work. The cylinders can be used in all positions and are supplied with a flat saddle. This prevents damage to the plunger. The flat saddle can easily be replaced by a tilting saddle for loads up to a maximum angle of 5°.
Applications
High tonnage cylinders are suitable for many applications, including the lifting and positioning of offshore modules, the placement of heavy ship sections and the placement and jacking of bridges, steel constructions, flood gates, etc. The cylinders are also used during the maintenance of grab buckets, loaders and offshore cranes. High tonnage cylinders are suitable for pressing the gasket plate during the testing of pipes, pistons, etc. They are used during the dismantling and re-pressing of cylinder linings and to lift heavy transport loads.
