Pulling Cylinders
Pulling cylinders with a pulling capacity of 11 up to 100 tons and a stroke of 150 mm. Especially developed for, among other things, pulling heavy objects towards each other. Holmatro's pulling cylinders are available with spring return and hydraulic return:
Pulling cylinders - spring return
Holmatro's pulling cylinders with spring return have a pulling capacity of 11 to 60 tons and a stroke length of 150 mm. These single-action hydraulic cylinders (also known as jacks, bottle jacks, presses, bottles or pumps) have been developed especially for, among other things, pulling heavy objects together.
Pulling cylinders - hydraulic return
Holmatro's pulling cylinder with hydraulic return has a lifting capacity of 100 tons and a stroke length of 150 mm. This double-action hydraulic cylinder is (like the spring return cylinders) developed especially for, among other things, pulling heavy objects together.
Applications
Pulling cylinders, otherwise known as pulling jacks, are suitable for pulling heavy steel structures together and for the tensioning of steel cables, mast stay cables and high-voltage cables. The cylinders are also used for the weighing of heavy loads using calibrated pressure gauges and for the horizontal adjustment of heavy loads in a crane's strop.
