Festive opening for new office Holmatro UK
Holmatro Rescue Equipment celebrated the official opening of its new office in Nottingham UK on 21 May 2010.

CEO J. Meijer opens More than 120 invited guests, among which UK fire brigades and other key figures in the UK rescue field were present at this festive opening. At Friday around noon the ceremony was officially opened by Holmatro’s CEO Mr. J. Meijer. He was followed by the Fire Chief of Nottingham and Nottingham’s Councillor who gave two heart warming speeches. Brendon Morris, in charge of all rescue (product) consultation for Holmatro, gave a presentation about ‘International Road Safety Trends & the Consequence on Rescue’. In his presentation he reviewed the latest “Global Road Safety” data and reflected on how these data affect Rescue Services today. Later that day, the Holmatro UK office was official opened by Mr. J. Meijer who cut an iron round bar blocking the front door with a Holmatro combi tool. After a successful cut a Nottingham fire truck, that was parked outsight, started its sirens and people were invited in to view the new premises. The programme ended at five o’clock with an informal reception.

The manager of Holmatro UK Ltd, Martin Joosen, was very pleased with this successful opening: “At January 1st, we started working in our new UK office with no more two plastic desks, some chairs and a mobile phone. Now, five months later, we find ourselves in this completely new decorated office with a passionate team of Holmatro sales & service specialists who are familiar with the UK market and its clients.
