Holmatro opens innovative premises in China
Thursday 16th August was a strategic milestone in the history of Holmatro, which spans back over 45 years. On that day the official opening was held of the new premises Holmatro Hydraulic Equipment (Suzhou) Co. Ltd.
Holmatro first established a representative office in Shanghai in late 2008. During the following three years, the demand for high quality rescue and industrial equipment in China has grown drastically and bigger premises were required. Holmatro China has a nation-wide dealer network and provides services in the fields of After Sales Support and Technical Support & Training.
Rescue Experience & Training Centre
The new facility in Wujiang covers over 3000m2. Besides plenty of office space a large area is reserved for the “Rescue Experience and Training Centre”. With the establishment of this Training Centre Holmatro offers a state of the art facility for training rescue organizations which is unparalleled in the East Asian region.
Opening Ceremony
For the opening ceremony, the Bridgend Road Traffic Collision Extrication Team (three times winners of the World Extrication Challenge) from South Wales, United Kingdom, flew over to start the three day program with a spectacular demonstration. After various speeches, the Lion Dance, eye dotting and ribbon cutting the new premises were officially opened!
